Job Information

This niche procurement consultancy with a focus on transforming procurement, driving efficiencies and realising cashable savings from third party spend has an opening for a talented individual to be London based. Working across both the public and private sector, they offer clients a broad range of services, from strategy formation through to transactional activities, including client-side support for the design/completion of complex procurement projects and programmes, supplier engagement and management services, contract due diligence and performance management services, category management and procurement cost reduction, and procurement/ commercial function design services. Their approach allows them to offer a completely flexible delivery model, where core capabilities are slotted together to create tailored solutions that are unique to each client’s requirement.

We are currently looking for an individual to join the growing Social Care and Health Category team with a focus on providing experience predominately within the Health Sector.
Ideally you will be able to evidence experience of:

  •  Extensive clinical procurement experience (5 years +). You potentially will be responsible for all clinical spend so experience in multiple clinical categories is required
  • You must have experience of working within the NHS ideally with a focus within procurement
  • You must be able to evidence a track record of delivering savings within clinical spend
  • You may be required to work across a multi-client base so need to be experienced in leading and managing complex procurement projects
  • It is a must that the appointed individual has excellent knowledge of Public Sector procurement regulations and keeps informed of any changes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills as you will need to be able to install confidence quickly with your key stakeholders of your credibility and understanding of clinical categories

You will be interested in broadening your category and sector experience by supporting their non-clinical consulting engagements when needed.

Initially the main location will be within London however as this is a multi-client facing role, due to the geographical landscape of their clients you may be required to travel with regular nights away from home. They appreciate the importance of cultivating the right balance of travel and therefore would aim to keep nights away from home to 2-3 nights per week.

This is a great opportunity for a growing and successful organisation. Please send your CV to or call on 01962 869 838 for more information.
