A well-recognised FMCG brand is going through an exciting phase in their Procurement Team, with a new Procurement Director and a refreshed strategy and functional development plan to help drive the continued success of the business. As part of this change they are looking for a new Procurement Manager to oversee the Packaging and Direct Materials spend portfolio of over £35 million.

This Procurement Manager role will see you:
• Develop procurement strategies to deliver projects on time and delivering exceptional value
• Act as subject matter expert in assigned areas of spend within Packaging and Direct Materials
• Interface with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams and thinking of innovative ways to achieve success
• Develop clear communication strategies to build trust with key stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in assessing, evaluating and nominating suppliers
• Develop Procurement solutions to identified issues to ensure delivery of projects is maintained

Skills/Experience
• Commodity market knowledge across Packaging Procurement
• Experience of managing large, complex, cross functional change projects
• Be able to drive strategic change by engaging senior stakeholders within the business
• Someone who has driven change in a business and has developed a category strategy and turned it into their own.
