This multinational Pharmaceutical brand is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their rapidly growing Procurement function. Despite operating on a Global Level, this organisation has an SME feel which is underpinned by a collaborative and trusting working environment. Due to regulatory changes coming into play in 2019, this role has been created to take a lead on the subsequent new projects being developed.

This role will contribute to the development of both the product launch and supply chain management strategies and the implementation of this within the context of the overall business strategies, including new and existing markets. The Supply Chain Manager’s role requires an individual who can be flexible, deliver at pace and who demonstrates strong internal and external cross-functional working and excellent commercial and analytical skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee forecasting, ordering, stock management and approvals, as well as working with replenishment teams to ensure effective replenishment with the sole goal of minimising out of stocks, as well as management of central order approvals in line with delegated authorities
  • Liaison with appropriate team members to ensure effective product forecasting to ensure ongoing product availability to avoid any lost sales opportunities, but mitigating against obsolete stock risk.
  • Reporting Supply Chain performance against KPI’s.
  • Monitor and measure supplier performance/service levels in line with contractual obligations and internal requirements
  • Control of central and local processes to ensure effective and efficient stock management and ensure continuous process and service improvement
  • Working in collaboration with the regulatory colleagues, to be responsible for minimising the requirement to re-pack existing products and avoid unnecessary costs
